The skiing in Bansko, by now, is no secret. Mt. Pirin offers skiing and snow-boarding for all types. From ski school to heli-skiing, Bansko leaves no snowy stone uncovered. Over the past two years Bansko has become a year-round tourist attraction. For those not interested in snow sports, one may enjoy horseback riding, trekking, mountain bike exploration, canoeing and kayaking, or hiking.

Within the next few months, holiday makers may also play golf in the Bansko area, as the spectacular Ian Woosnam golf course will open. Bansko, much like Bulgaria's Black Sea coast, is set to become a world-class destination for golf aficionados with at least four more golf course projects on the way.

Although a quaint town in size, Bansko's nightlife offers big city variety. No matter the taste or budget, visitors to Bansko can enjoy a wide array of restaurants, cafes, discos and pubs.
